Years ago, my mom wanted to take a class at a local junior college, but didn't want to drive the 30 mile one way trip by herself. I took the class with her and acted as her driver. LOL. With the economy what it is, the company I work for has pretty much decided they can do what they want with their employees and that we'll not say anything for fear of losing our job. I've dusted off some of the old tools, bought a few new ones, and knocked the rust off of my long unused skills. I hope to eventually start my own business incorporating my hobby with making a living so I'm not under a corporate thumb. What do you all think?

Very nice Duane, can you make something up in the shape of a GL1800 windscreen? Tempered perhaps?

Very nice work Duane. I think you have a great idea to start your own business, especially doing something that you enjoy. Never hurts to have something to fall back on for income in case of a job layoff, emergency, etc. _________________ We're not here for a long time, just a good time

Maybe some of the "OBAMA" money can help get the new business going.... _________________ Attitude is everything!

Duane, those look great. I have been in the glass business 38 yrs come June 5. I used to do a lot of stained glass work too. I lost interest many years ago, but I still love looking at the work of others.
I went through your town a few weeks ago on my way to New Mexico, I called your name on Ch1 of the CB but you didn't answer me back. |
